Privacy policy

WeatherSG is a read-only public-weather service. It does not require a WeatherSG account and does not intentionally collect, persist, sell, or share personal information.

Information processed

The service receives an MCP tool request containing a weather-layer choice such as forecast, rainfall, or both. It returns public weather information. It does not need names, email addresses, precise user locations, ChatGPT conversation history, or authentication tokens.

Infrastructure records

The hosting provider may process standard network and security records, such as IP address, request time, response status, and user agent, for service delivery, abuse prevention, and reliability. WeatherSG does not use advertising trackers or cookies.

External sources

Weather data is retrieved server-side from data.gov.sg. The embedded map loads tiles from OneMap. Use of ChatGPT is governed separately by OpenAI's terms and privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

WeatherSG does not maintain user profiles or a database of user requests. Temporary operational logs, when enabled by the hosting provider, follow that provider's configured retention policy.
